Raheem Sterling is in a very delicate situation heading into transfer deadline day.
The winger has been frozen out of the Chelsea squad, but with the clock ticking, he’s running out of time to make his move away from Stamford Bridge.
The winger needs to leave Chelsea by the end of Friday, and ahead of the deadline, Sterling has been linked to Arsenal.
Now, with just 12 hours to go until the deadline, it’s said that there are only two options on the table for Raheem Sterling.
The two options Raheem Sterling has
According to Ben Jacobs, reporting on X, Raheem Sterling now only has two options on deadline day as his future hangs in the balance.
According to the journalist, Sterling’s only options are to either stay at Chelsea or join Arsenal at the very end of the transfer window.
Sterling only has two options at this point, and he may have to stay at Chelsea.
As appealing as a move to Arsenal would be, it’s difficult to see that move getting done.
Sterling would have to take a serious paycut to join Arsenal, and that appears to be the biggest hurdle in this transfer saga.

Raheem Sterling could stay at Chelsea
Raheem Sterling may be forced to stay at Chelsea for a few more months.
Arsenal appears to be the only exit avenue for Sterling right now, but, given how much Sterling earns, this won’t be an easy deal for Arsenal to do.
If Sterling does stay at Chelsea, he’ll be set for a few months in the reserves, but with the January transfer window only a few months away, it wouldn’t necessarily be the end of the world if Sterling didn’t get his move before this summer’s deadline.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on as Sterling looks for a new club and Arsenal look for a new winger.
