Manchester United are showing an interest in a rumoured Liverpool target this summer transfer window.
Liverpool have made a pretty slow start to the transfer window but they’re now expected to ramp up their business following the completion of the European Championships in Germany.
Newly-appointed boss Arne Slot is keen to sign a new central defender following Joel Matip’s departure upon the expiry of his contract.
Now, it has just emerged that one of their defensive targets is on United’s shortlist.

Man United showing interest in David Hancko
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Feyenoord defender David Hancko over the last few months, however, it has now come to light that they aren’t alone in their interest.
According to The Mirror, Manchester United are also looking at a move for Hancko, who is considered ‘world class’ per GiveMeSport.
The 26-year-old, who indeed worked under Slot, is expected to cost suitors around £40m this summer, though, no formal approach has been made at this stage.
Liverpool are also thought to be considering a move for Juventus teenager Dean Huijsen.
Liverpool also looking at Gleison Bremmer
Liverpool have a number of central defenders on their shortlist and Gleison Bremmer is another player of interest to Slot.
The Merseysiders are pushing hard to sign the Brazilian, however, he’s not for sale, so they may struggle to get a deal over the line.
In other news, a player has now admitted he rejected a contract offer from Liverpool this summer.
