Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be busy in the coming weeks as Ange Postecoglou looks to bolster his squad’s ranks further.
Spurs have already made one new signing this summer, landing Archie Gray from Leeds United. Lucas Bergvall has also arrived from Djurgarden.
Tottenham will be also looking to offload more players that are surplus to requirements to free up wages and squad spaces.
Now, Alasdair Gold has reported that Spurs have rejected a formal offer for a player on the fringes of the squad, suggesting it was too low.

Tottenham reject AC Milan bid for Emerson Royal
The player in question is Emerson Royal, who faces an increasingly uncertain future at Tottenham after struggling to force his way into the starting XI.
Emerson has been linked with a move to Italy, with Serie A trio AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus all said to be interested.
Milan are believed to have the strongest interest in the Brazilian and, according to Gold, they have now made a formal bid for the player.
However, Gold – writing on X – has reported that Tottenham have rejected it, as they want at least €20million (£17million).
Borussia Dortmund have also emerged as suitors for the Spurs defender, added the football.london journalist.
Emerson Royal unlikely to stay at Tottenham
Although Ange Postecoglou praised Emerson earlier this season, lauding his “outstanding” attitude and demeanour as per football.london, the defender sadly hasn’t kicked on at Tottenham.
Emerson is unlikely to remain at Spurs past the end of the window, but at the same time, the club will want adequate compensation for his signature.
Milan may well just be testing the waters, but now they’ve made a formal offer, it shows how concrete their interest is. There could well be more negotiations in the coming days.
