Aston Villa have been particularly busy on the transfer front over the past few weeks.
Six players have joined the Villans this summer, namely Ian Maatsen, Cameron Archer, Samuel Iling-Junior, Lewis Dobbin, Enzo Barrenechea and Ross Barkley.
There have also been some outgoings, with Douglas Luiz, Tim Iroegbunam, Morgan Sanson and Calum Chambers all leaving Aston Villa permanently.
Philippe Coutinho, meanwhile, has left the Villans on loan, linking up with Brazilian side Vasco da Gama for the 2024/25 season.
Now, Villa are reported to have completed their seventh signing, and the player in question is one who came through the ranks at B6.

Aston Villa set to re-sign Jaden Philogene
The player in question is Jaden Philogene, who only left Villa last season, linking up and impressing with Hull City in the Championship.
Romano, taking to X, has reported that Philogene is now returning to Villa after they activated matching rights earlier this week.
The deal is worth £13million, with the Villans having a 30 percent sell-on clause included when they sold him to Hull last year.
Philogene is signing a five-year deal at Villa, with Unai Emery eager to bring him back to B6, added Romano.
Romano then declared “here we go” a little later, saying he will sign the contract on Monday, with all documents ready between clubs.
Villa set to sign Zaniolo replacement
Philogene looked set to join Ipswich Town on Tuesday after the Tractor Boys agreed an £18million deal with Hull and also convinced the winger to sign.
However, the matching rights agreement gave Villa 72 hours to decide whether they wanted to hijack the deal. And this is something they have now done.
Villa were in need of a new left winger after Nicolo Zaniolo’s loan spell finished at the end of the season.
Now, it looks like they’ve got his replacement, and what a replacement he is.
Philogene is just 22 years old, so he’s got his whole career ahead of him, not to mention a high ceiling.
He knows the club inside out and he impressed last season, bagging 12 goals and six assists in the second tier.
Liam Rosenior called Philogene an “outrageous” talent earlier this year. Now, the player has the chance to showcase this talent in the Premier League and Champions League.
