Nottingham Forest remain active in the transfer market ahead of the deadline at 11pm this evening.
Nuno Espirito Santo has made nine new additions to his squad so far and is hoping to bring in a centre-forward today.
Forest are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush after his 17-goal season for the Bundesliga outfit.
They have submitted bids for the Egypt international and now John Percy has shared the latest on the deal…

Omar Marmoush to Nottingham Forest unlikely
Nottingham Forest missed out on Eddie Nketiah and Santiago Gimenez earlier this month and have since turned their attention to Marmoush.
The 25-year-old is thought to be valued at in excess of £28m – which Forest are reluctant to pay and now Percy believes the deal could be off.
A deal could yet be revived but it appears Forest will have to outlay a substantial sum to convince Frankfurt to make a sale so late on in the window.
