West Ham have made their first move on deadline day and are set to make their first signing early in the day.
The Hammers are looking for a good finish to the window and manager Julen Lopetegui is known to want to bring at least one new signing in.
So far, West Ham have done some smart business with the additions of Max Kilman and Crysencio Summerville eye-catching signings.
However, there are also outgoings, with James Ward-Prowse the latest to be linked with a move away to Nottingham Forest.
And now, it looks like the Hammers have agreed to sign a player to replace Ward-Prowse.

Carlos Soler set to have West Ham medical
According to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, West Ham are close to signing Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler.
Soler has been on their radar for some time and after multiple reports suggested a move was possible this summer, it looks like a loan deal is done.
Taking to X to share the news on Soler, Sky Sports man Sheth has said that a loan for Soler is now done and he’ll be flying to England today for a medical.
Soler improves West Ham
The deadline day efforts can sometimes be about strengthening the squad as much as the first XI and that’s what West Ham are doing here with their capture of Carlos Soler.
The Spaniard is very much a quality operator and at 27, is a good age to come to England and really make an impression under a manager from the same country.
For Soler, this is also a chance to show PSG what they might be missing and in turn, strengthen his position with the Spanish national team.
West Ham, then, look like they’ve done smart business here in bringing in Soler.
