Arsenal could face a busy end to the transfer window with multiple deals on the brink of being completed.
Arsenal announced the signing of Mikel Merino this week with the Spaniard becoming the third new arrival at The Emirates.
He joins Riccardo Calafiori and David Raya as new Arsenal signings, and the Gunners are still in the market for new additions.
Arsenal are pushing to sign Joan Garcia before Friday’s deadline, and they have also been linked with a move for Nico Williams.
On top of their potential incomings, Arsenal are also gearing up to complete several sales in the coming days. Emile Smith Rowe has already left to join Fulham in a £34million deal.
Eddie Nketiah is set to join Crystal Palace in a £30million deal, while Aaron Ramsdale has agreed to join Southampton for a £25million fee.

Arsenal chief praised for transfer business
When all of Arsenal’s sales are completed, the North London club will have raised £89million from Smith Rowe, Nketiah and Ramsdale.
Those fees almost cover the money spent on Calafiori, Raya and Merino this summer, putting Arsenal in a great position financially.
Fabrizio Romano was quick to praise the role of Arsenal sporting director Edu after Ramsdale’s deal was agreed.
Via CaughtOffside, Romano said “He [Ramsdale] was in the list of Wolves and Bournemouth but they both didn’t want to invest £25m on a GK, Southampton said yes and it was quite fast.
“I think it was a good summer for Arsenal, especially on sales. Edu did an important job. It’s never easy to sell players.”
A great summer window for Arsenal
Arsenal have addressed every issue they needed to this summer. Extra depth at left-back was covered by Calafiori, Merino’s arrival strengthens the midfield and provides Declan Rice with a new partner, and Raya has already justified his fee with his performances at the start of the season.

The only thing lacking to make it a 10/10 window for the Gunners is a new centre-forward. Arsenal are already many people’s favourites for the league title, but a goal-hungry striker would almost guarantee it.
Kai Havertz is in great form, but with Gabriel Jesus struggling with injury, the last thing Arteta needs is to have no options up-front.
