Aston Villa have been one of the most productive teams in the summer transfer window ahead of their return to the UEFA Champions League.
Unai Emery’s side have made a slew of impressive signings from Amadou Onana to Ian Maatsen having lost some key players this summer in Douglas Luiz and Moussa Diaby, with Villa eager to go again this season in the Premier League.
With Jhon Duran still a target for Chelsea, there’s likely to be some movement coming in and out of Villa before Friday’s deadline, with the Villa Park side looking to wrap up those final deals ahead of what is to be a massive season.
And Villa could now be about to loan out one of their star talents for the year.

Villa ready to loan out new signing Enzo Barrenechea
According to Fabrizio Romano, Enzo Barrenechea could leave Villa on loan having joined Emery’s side from Juventus as part of the deal that saw Luiz join the Italian giants earlier this summer.
Romano posted: “After Samuel Iling Jr, also Enzo Barrenechea could leave Aston Villa on loan after joining as part of Douglas Luiz deal. Valencia are among clubs keen on Enzo Barrenechea loan move, as reported by Matte Moretto. Talks ongoing.”
Hailed by Target Scouting as a ‘remarkable’ athlete, Barrenechea has impressed Villa already in training with the youngster set for a big future with Emery if the Birmingham-based club can get the 23-year-old’s development on the right course.
And a loan move to a European club would be a wise decision from Villa, with Barrenechea not ready yet to compete in the Premier League or to get minutes in this season’s Champions League.

Villa are making the right call in loaning out Barrenechea
Barrenechea is clearly a talented midfielder who could have a future with Villa if he can take his game to another level in the next 12 months, and a loan move will do just that for the former Juventus prospect.
With Valencia already being mooted as a potential destination for Barrenechea, La Liga feels like a logical next step for the Argentine, who this season needs regular minutes in a top European league to develop.
And with Villa open to loaning out Barrenechea, a deal could soo be reached with a club to send the midfielder away for the year, where the 23-year-old will gain valuable experience ahead of a return to the Premier League in 2025.
