The Aston Villa camp has been very happy for the last 18 months by all accounts.
Indeed, the Villans have broken into the top four and are playing some incredible football under Unai Emery.
Emery has put together an incredible team and everyone seemed to be happy at the club.
However, it sounds as though there may be trouble in paradise.
Indeed, according to Dean Jones, speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Jhon Duran is starting to get frustrated at Aston Villa.
West Ham have been strongly linked with a move for Duran, and according to Jones, the striker is very much keen on that move, with the journalist claiming that the forward is beginning to get frustrated about a lack of movement.
Jhon Duran is getting frustrated
Jones shared what he knows about the £40m striker.
“They (West Ham) are obviously in for Jhon Duran at Aston Villa. He wants the move, he wants to join West Ham, he wants to be the main man. He’s a bit frustrated. I think he’s starting to agitate a little bit in terms of wanting this move,” Jones said.
Jhon Duran needs to leave
Jhon Duran may be getting frustrated at Villa, but it’s surely only a matter of time before he goes.
Indeed, while Duran may be the one getting frustrated, it was reported a long time ago, once again by Dean Jones, that Unai Emery isn’t Duran’s biggest fan.
“Again, I don’t think Unai Emery is a huge fan of Jhon Duran in terms of the way he conducts himself, so I can believe that Aston Villa are letting him go.” Jones said.
Duran hasn’t necessarily been the consummate professional during this saga, making public pleas about getting a move, and given how this story is progressing, it may not be too long before he gets his wish.
