Newcastle United are now pushing to sign a promising young player on the continent.
The Magpies survived a late PSR scare towards the end of June as they avoided a potential points deduction.
They had to raise funds through player sales and chose to offload Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson, much to Eddie Howe’s frustration.
With that now behind them, the club can focus on potential incomings and it seems they could be about to sign a talented youngster on the continent.

Newcastle want to sign Alexander Prass
According to Krone, Newcastle United have firmly entered the race to sign Sturm Graz Alexander Prass over the last few days.
The 2001-born wide player is expected to depart the Austrian club this summer and he’s currently in talks with Serie A side Bologna.
Though, Newcastle are intent on landing his signature and have made contact with the Prass recently.
They will now look to reach an agreement with the club – who are likely to demand around £12.6m for their prized asset.
Alexander Prass profile
Prass, who is considered an ‘eye-catching’ star per Smarter Scout, is an extremely versatile player as he can operate in a number of different roles – which is a trait growing increasingly popular in today’s game.
The Austria international can operate at left-back, left-midfield and as a number 10, so he’d provide Howe with depth in a number of different areas.
If he were to join, he’d likely be more of a squad player initially rather than a regular starter but of course, that could change if he continues to develop.
Prass is still learning his trade and has the potential to make a real impact at Newcastle.
In other news, Joelinton is pleading with a Newcastle man to stay after being linked with an exit.
