Arsenal are in the market for a new winger this summer.
Nico Williams has been named as one of the Gunners’ top transfer targets heading into this window, but, unfortunately, that deal won’t be easy to do.
Indeed, Williams will cost a lot of money and he looks to be keen on a move to Barcelona rather than a switch to the Emirates.
Speaking on Inside Arsenal, Team News and Ticks has been discussing Arsenal’s other wide options, and he noted that Pedro Neto is someone the Gunners have long admired, claiming that if their other targets don’t work out, Arsenal will turn to Neto.

Arsenal could turn to Pedro Neto
The insider shared what he knows about the £40m man.
“Yeah I don’t want to call Neto the last option, but he’s always someone they have admired, and if the price is right if they can’t get their first targets it’s something they will do,” He said.

Neto is an incredible option
Pedro Neto may not be Arsenal’s first option, but make no mistake about it, he would be an incredible option for the Gunners.
Indeed, unlike Williams, Neto is proven in the Premier League, and he has bags of potential.
Yes, Williams outshone Neto at Euro 2024, but playing in the Premier League is a different story entirely.
How many players have we seen shine on the international stage and in La Liga only to come to the Premier League and struggle?
Neto is a much more proven commodity at this level, and as the signings of Jorginho, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard have shown in recent years, it’s hard to go wrong with these types of signings.
It sounds as though Neto isn’t close to the top of Arsenal’s list of targets, but perhaps he should be.
