Tottenham forward Timo Werner could finally see his miserable spell at the club come to and end with a move to the MLS now a distinct possibility.
Werner is currently on loan at Tottenham after the club decided to keep him after last season and he has been a regular for Ange Postecoglou.
However, Werner has once again struggled to make an impact this season and has scored just the one goal in 26 appearances this season.
Now, though, his time with the club could be coming to an end.

Timo Werner could leave Tottenham for New York Redbulls
According to a report from Foot Mercato, MLS side New York Redbulls are making a move to sign Timo Werner and take him off Tottenham’s hands.
It’s claimed that New York are wanting to press ahead with a deal for Werner, effectively ending his time with Spurs immediately rather than him seeing the season out.
As we know, Werner is contracted by RB Leipzig, meaning a move to New York should be simple enough to get done.
Werner has been linked with a move to Napoli this month but now, it looks like the MLS could be his next destination.
MLS could bring Werner back to life
Timo Werner’s career has been a strange one to witness.
He has gone from being a player both Liverpool and Chelsea were in a tug of war over, to being a player who simply doesn’t seem to be able to hit the back of the net.
His form in Germany before moving to England was superb but for whatever reason, he seems to have lost all his confidence and has struggled massively.
It says it all if Tottenham – despite their injuries – are willing to let Werner go.
However, the MLS could be the new lease of life he needs to get back on track and Leipzig may well be hoping this is the case, so they can eventually sell him for some money.
