Exclusive: Tottenham have asked to be kept informed on £77m striker whose future is 'completely up in the air'

TBR Football understands that Randal Kolo Muani’s future at Juventus is becoming increasingly unclear and Tottenham Hotspur have asked to be kept informed on his situation.

Tottenham made a strong push to sign Kolo Muani in January, however, Juventus ended up winning the race for the French international.

The 26-year-old had made a strong start to life in Turin as he scored five times in his first five matches, however, the scene at the Italian club has now changed with Thiago Motta being sacked and Igor Tudor being brought in.

Kolo-Muani’s fortunes have also changed as the striker has found himself on the bench in the last two matches and has gone five Serie A matches without a goal.

Randal Kolo Muani could be on the move again in the summer

Randal Kolo Muani’s camp are making it known that the striker could be back on the market again this summer with his long-term future at Juventus coming into question, according to Graeme Bailey – TBR Football chief correspondent.

Juventus had been pleased with Kolo Muani’s start to life at the club, however, their poor form and change of manager means that they are now less likely to make him permanent.

Meanwhile, the new-look Paris Saint-Germain, who paid £77m to sign Kolo Munai, appear ready to continue without him and will be open to offers when the summer transfer window opens.

Speaking to TBR Football, Bailey said: “It is coming to pass now that is people are now letting everyone know that he’ll be on the move again this summer.

“Things have not gone according to plan at Juve, he’s playing well but they’ve just changed manager and he didn’t start on the week. It’s now completely up in the air whether Juve will make the deal permanent.”

Randal Kolo Muani likely to be back on Tottenham’s radar

TBR Football has also been told that Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on Kolo Muani and have asked to be kept informed over his future.

Spurs are one of several Premier League clubs who still like the striker and he remains firmly on the North London club’s radar.

“Tottenham are one of the teams who are being kept informed on him. Tottenham like him a lot and know he’s a great player so it would not surprise me if he’s back on Tottenham’s radar,” added Bailey.

“I think with him being back on the market – that’s a fascinating option for Tottenham but there are others in the Premier League who like him. Daniel Levy likes him.”
