Gabriel Jesus has fizzled out at Arsenal.
The Brazil international enjoyed a blistering start to life at the Emirates Stadium following a £45m move from Manchester City in July 2022 – scoring five goals and providing three assists in his first eight Premier League appearances for the Gunners.
Unfortunately, a series of niggling injuries disrupted the South American’s progress, and he currently sits on 19 goals in 70 games for Arsenal – a poor record for a player of his quality, in truth.
Now, Arsenal could use Gabriel Jesus as a makeweight to sign a new forward…
Arsenal could offer Gabriel Jesus in bid to sign Marcus Thuram from Inter Milan
A story from Inter Live now states that Arsenal could include Jesus in a player-plus-cash bid to sign Inter Milan No.9 Marcus Thuram in 2025.
The Italian news outlet believe Mikel Arteta is a massive fan of the France international and would love to have him at the Emirates Stadium next year, even more so after the striker’s excellent start to the 2024/25 campaign.

Fresh from scoring 15 goals and assisting a further 14 in 46 appearances last season, Thuram – who has been compared to Thierry Henry – already has four goals and two assists in just three Serie A outings this term.
Gunners have wanted the France international for years
Arteta is not the only Arsenal manager to show a desire to sign the 27-year-old.
A story from le10sport claimed that Unai Emery wanted to sign Thuram for Arsenal back in 2019 – while the striker was still playing for Guingamp – although a deal failed to materialise.

The Spaniard surely regretted missing out on the man born in Parma, as he has since become one of Europe’s best strikers, firing Inter Milan to the Serie A title last season, while also making a huge impact in the 2022 World Cup final of all stages.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation heading into 2025, as Arsenal seem ready to use Jesus in a bid to finally sign Thuram.
