Tottenham Hotspur can now place all of their focus back on the 2024/25 campaign with the summer transfer window now shut.
It has certainly been a mixed window for Tottenham with Ange Postecoglou having been handed five new signings in total.
But it was a summer that saw a big focus put on outgoings in north London with 15 players leaving the club over various means.
However, there may well be some frustration over the players which did come through the doors this summer.
Timo Werner was already at Spurs last season loan and Yang Min-hyeok will not arrive at Tottenham until January.
And it seems as if there could well have been room for more signings had two of Tottenham’s new arrivals not impressed so much this summer.

Which Tottenham signings have really impressed Ange Postecoglou
One player who made his debut last weekend was Wilson Odobert and Heung-min Son was left seriously impressed on his first Tottenham start.
But Spurs have not seen so much of Dominic Solanke who has already been sidelined through injury this season.
However, two of the players who have landed in north London this summer had seemingly put a hold on the transfer plans of Postecoglou.

Speaking to the media on Friday ahead of the trip to Newcastle, Postecoglou admitted Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall‘s strong start to the window reassured the club they didn’t need further midfield additions.
“I’m not surprised [in how ready they are] as you keep an open mind. You just don’t know. Lucas had been playing in Sweden. Archie played a full season in the Championship,” said Postecoglou.
“I’ve been really impressed with both guys, more the way they have handled things and their maturity,”
“We may have gone a bit stronger in a different area if both of those guys didn’t work out, but it wouldn’t have been a major shift from what we have already done.
“Our main focus this window was around the front third, to make sure we bolstered that and I think we have got some good outcomes. Those two guys just further reinforce the areas we were okay in anyway.”
Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall need minutes in the Europa League
Although it is still early days in the season, Gray and Bergvall are still awaiting their first starts having came on off the bench in the Premier League.
Fortunately, the cup competitions are about to begin with Tottenham drawing Championship side Coventry City in the Carabao Cup.
And then there is the Europa League which has also been drawn with more games than ever being needed to be played.
If the pair can pick up some starts in those competitions, they could well continue to impress to a point where they earn themselves a start in the Premier League.
