Tottenham Hotspur have sent scouts to watch a teenage ‘wonderkid’ at Euro 2024, according to a recent report.
The North Londoners finished fifth in the Premier League last term, thus returning to Europe after a year absence.
Though, Ange Postecoglou won’t be satisfied until his team return to the elite – the illustrious Champions League.
That will be the aim ahead of the new campaign and to do that, he’ll need a number of additions in the window, particularly up front.
One teenage striker has just been linked.

Tottenham Hotspur send scouts to watch Besiktas Semih Kilicsoy
According to Turkish outlet Sabah, Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of Premier League clubs that have sent scouts to watch Semih Kilicsoy.
The 18-year-old ‘wonderkid’, who models his game on Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero, enjoyed a productive year in the Super Lig last season, netting 12 times whilst laying on three assists for Besiktas.
Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in the Turkey striker, who will be heavily scouted at Euro 2024 by clubs across the continent.
Kilicsoy is under contract until 2028, so Besiktas are in a strong position to retain his services.
Semih Kilicsoy price tag
Besiktas have set a £42m price tag on Kilicsoy, however, the club are aware that is an unrealistic valuation.
The Turkish outfit intend to use it as a starting point for negotiations, so they seem willing to accept much lower than that.
If Spurs do land his signature this summer, it’d certainly be an exciting acquisition but one that carries a lot of risk.
Perhaps the club should consider signing Kilicsoy along with a more experienced number nine to allow him time to develop on the job.
