West Ham United have been busy on the transfer front in recent weeks, getting three signings over the line.
The Hammers have signed three new players this summer, bringing in Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.
Now, it looks as though West Ham have taken a step closer to making an “outstanding” new signing, as per Fabrizio Romano’s latest update.

Crysencio Summerville agrees to join West Ham
Romano, taking to X, has reported that West Ham have now reached an agreement with Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville.
The 22-year-old winger has “said yes” to the contract and the project the Hammers have presented him, said the transfer insider.
Now, negotiations are under way between West Ham and Leeds over a deal for Summerville, with the east Londoners having already made a bid.
Who is West Ham target Crysencio Summerville?
Crysencio Summerville is a 22-year-old winger who plies his trade for Leeds United and represents the Netherlands Under-21s at international level.
The Dutchman joined Leeds from Feyenoord in 2020. Although he started in the youth team, it didn’t take long for him to become a first-team regular.
Summerville has made 89 competitive senior appearances for the Whites, registering 25 goals and 12 assists.
The “outstanding” talent – in Daniel Farke’s words – really came to the fore last season, with 21 goals and 10 assists from 49 outings in all competitions.
Summerville’s efforts for Leeds in the league earned him the Championship Player of the Season award in April.
As per The Express, his style of play has been compared to that of Senegal international and former Liverpool star Sadio Mane.
West Ham are now a step closer to signing one of the best players outside the Premier League, and hopefully it will not be long before the clubs agree a fee.
