Tottenham Hotspur’s summer transfer window has centred around player exits with just one permanent signing secured.

Archie Gray has been the only player to land in north London on a permanent deal so far this summer with Timo Werner signing on loan.

Ange Postecoglou and his side are currently in Japan for the first of their pre-season friendlies in Asia.

Tottenham have already played twice this summer with their squad having lost seven members already in the opening six weeks of the window.

There could still be room for movement in north London with several players potentially also at risk of being sold over the coming weeks.

And Tottenham have just received a bid for one player which is not a million miles away from their asking price.

Tottenham receive bid for ‘unbelievable’ player

The summer of sales has not ended in N17 with Spurs allowing Bryan Gil and Sergio Reguilon to remain at home to find a new club.

With neither player on the pre-season tour in Japan, Gil has reportedly agreed personal terms with Girona over a possible move.

Seven players have already left the club and Spurs could well end the window having allowed double figure departures.

As well as Gil, it seems a potential exit for one other player is in the works.

According to Sky Italia, AC Milan have now submitted a bid for Emerson Royal which is much closer to Tottenham’s asking price.

It is believed Tottenham are looking for around €20m (£17m) for their Brazilian defender this summer with Milan now offering around €15m (£13m).

The two clubs continue to talk over a possible transfer with Emerson already admitting it would be a dream to join AC Milan.

Spurs may have also found their replacement for the Brazilian already within the club as Djed Spence continues to impress over the early stages of pre-season.

Emerson Royal has travelled to Japan with Tottenham

Although Spurs and Milan are in talks for a potential deal for Emerson, the Brazilian has still made the trip for the pre-season tour of Asia.

This is despite Spurs having Pedro Porro and Spence to cover at right-back, but potentially a consequence of the lack of centre-back options currently at Postecoglou’s disposal.

Radu Dragusin is expected to join up with the squad when they travel to South Korea but the likes of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are still deep into their summer break.

What will be interesting to see is whether a deal can be struck between the two sides for the ‘unbelievable‘ right-back midway through the tour of Asia.
