Arsenal have just made contact to sign a highly-rated winger on the continent.
Mikel Arteta’s side have made a slow start to the summer transfer window but behind the scenes, sporting director Edu Gasper is working on a number of deals.
Riccardo Calafiori is expected to be the first signing through the door at The Emirates and then they’re expected to move for a winger, with Nico Williams one of their priority targets.
However, now it has just emerged that a Tottenham Hotspur target is of interest, too.

Arsenal enquire about Federico Chiesa
According to SportMediaset, Arsenal have enquired about Juventus winger Federico Chiesa this summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old is out of contract next year and is thought to be available for around £25m – with some suggestions a deal could be reached for even lower than that figure.
Chiesa, who has been labelled ‘world class’ per Sports View, has not joined the Juve pre-season camp in Germany and is thought to be one step away from his next destination.
Where that is remains to be seen but TBR reported earlier this week that North London rivals Tottenham are ready to accelerate a move to sign him.
Federico Chiesa profile
Chiesa is an extremely versatile player and can operate in a number of different positions across the forward line.
The Italy international plies his trade-off on both flanks and as a second striker – which would provide great depth across a number of areas for Arteta.
Chiesa netted nine times whilst laying on three assists last term which is a commendable tally considering he only started 25 league games.
