Tottenham are hoping to add more players to their squad this summer and according to Fabrizio Romano, two Premier League attackers are firmly in their sights.

Spurs are already one of the most active teams in the market in England have added both Timo Werner and Archie Gray to the squad.

Lucas Bergvall has also arrived, meaning Ange Postecoglou has three new players to choose from, albeit Werner was there last season.

However, Postecoglou is desperate to see even more additions arrive and come the end of the window, he’ll be hoping five or six have come through the doors.

Luckily for Ange and Spurs fans, it looks like work is well underway and according to Fabrizio Romano, two Premier League players are in their sights.

Tottenham like the idea of signing Pedro Neto or Eberechi Eze

Speaking on his YouTube channel about Tottenham’s search for a new attacking midfielder, Romano confirmed that both Eze and Pedro Neto are on their list.

“There is appreciation from Spurs for Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace, and they like Pedro Neto, this is absolutely confirmed.

“So Tottenham like Eze and like Pedro Neto, and they have decided how much they want to spend in that position,” Romano said.

“So there is internal conversation, but they will bring in one more player in that position for sure – one more offensive player.”

Both Neto and Eze have emerged as two of the brightest talents in the Premier League in recent years.

For Neto, there are question marks over his fitness after a couple of injuries have seen his progress halted in more recent times.

Eze, meanwhile, has proved himself at Palace and a solid showing off the bench at the Euros has only increased his value, albeit he does have a reported £60m release-clause.

Tottenham, then, could have a big decision on their hands.
