Tottenham Hotspur have now suffered a considerable blow in their summer transfer plans as one of their targets looks set to join AC Milan.
It has been a fairly busy start to the window for Tottenham who have been doing a lot of housekeeping work to get their summer going.
Ange Postecoglou and Daniel Levy have waved goodbye to numerous players already this summer with Joe Rodon marking the only actual sale.
Spurs have been able to bring in Archie Gray as a new addition to their midfield with Lucas Bergvall finally joining up with the squad after signing in January.
But it seems one of their other midfield targets may now be set to make the move to Italy with personal terms now agreed with AC Milan.

Tottenham target now set to make AC Milan move
There is still the need for Tottenham to move on a number of players this summer including midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The Denmark international is now enjoying his summer break following their elimination from Euro 2024.
It has even been suggested that Hojbjerg had received interest from AC Milan this summer but a move to the Italian giants may now be off as they close in on one of Tottenham’s midfield targets.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Youssouf Fofana has now agreed to sign for AC Milan this summer with negotiations ongoing with AS Monaco.
Just a couple of weeks back, Tottenham were credited as the leading club in the race to secure the 25-year-old’s signature.
However, the midfield ‘leader‘ has now agreed personal terms with the Serie A outfit and is keen to make the move to Italy.
Tottenham still looking for a new number six
Adding a layer of protection in front of the defence is something which Tottenham could benefit from following their 2023/24 campaign.
Despite boasting an impressive backline on paper, Spurs (61) ended the league campaign having conceded more goals than Crystal Palace (58).
Yves Bissouma was unable to offer Postecoglou the level of ball-winning midfielder which some of the other top clubs have in the league with the likes of Declan Rice and Rodri.
Which provides Spurs with an area to potentially target with midfielders like Ederson from Atalanta linked with a possible move to Tottenham over the coming weeks.
