Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are just four of the Premier League clubs that have been linked with Riccardo Calafiori in recent weeks.
The Gunners, the Reds, the Lilywhites and the Hammers are all likely to be busy in the summer transfer window in order to bolster their respective squads.
Arsenal and Liverpool will be eager to strengthen so they can push for the Premier League title next season.
Meanwhile, Tottenham and West Ham will be looking to kick on and perhaps secure a spot in the top four in 2024/25.
All four clubs have been linked with Bologna’s Calafiori, who made a big impact at Euro 2024 for Italy.
Indeed, his absence contributed to the Azzurri being knocked out by Switzerland, while his efforts for the Serie A club have also been impressive.
Now, Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori has provided an update on Calafiori’s future amid links with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and West Ham.

Sartori backs Calafiori to leave Italy amid Premier League links
As per Sky Sports News, Sartori expressed his desire to keep Calafiori with the Rossoblu, but he acknowledged that any “important offers” would have to be considered.
And in a boost to the Premier League contingent, Sartori also tipped Calafiori to go to a “different market” to Italy were he to move.
“We took him [Calafiori] 12 months ago, so we’ll see what happens in the market, but in our heads there is the will to keep him,” said Sartori.
“We will try to keep him, but if important offers arrive, we will have to take them into consideration.
“I don’t think he will go to Juventus, he will probably go to a different market.”
Calafiori likely to be the subject of summer transfer saga
Prior reports suggested that Bologna are resigned to losing their man, which has opened the door for the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham.
With a reported price tag of up to £43million, it’s not a bad starting point. While there’s a good chance a bidding war may break out amid such fierce competition, he’d be worth it.
Tottenham have been linked with a move to sign Calafiori for months, while Liverpool are also said to be looking at him. Arsenal are said to be in the mix too, as are West Ham.
However, there’s a good chance that more clubs will enter the race for one of the rising stars of European football.
