TBR Football understands that Dean Huijsen’s camp are pushing his potential availability this summer and have touched base with more than a dozen clubs around Europe.

The defender’s people have already spoken to Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle United, meanwhile, TBR Football sources have confirmed that Real Madrid have an interest in him.

Bournemouth have not publicly confirmed Huijsen’s release clause but his representatives have made it clear through the media its presence – which is believed to be over £49 million.

Whilst the Cherries are frustrated by the actions of Huijsen’s team, the South Coast accept the situation and realise that he is likely to leave this summer as it stands.

Bournemouth ready to offer Dean Huijsen a new contract

Bournemouth are ready to offer Dean Huijsen fresh terms in the hope of persuading him to stay at the Vitality Stadium, sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.

The Premier League club believe the fact the teenager loves working under Andoni Iraola could yet play a part in him staying on the South Coast beyond this summer, however, interest is mounting.

A deal for the 22-year-old will be further complicated by Bourneouth’s demands for his £49 million release clause to be paid which could prove tricky for certain clubs in terms of PSR.

Huijsen, who arrived in the summer from Juventus, does have options away from England and they are considerable.

TBR Football can reveal that European champions Real Madrid have been doing their homework on the player and their transfer chief Juni Calafat has put together reports on the Spanish Under-21 star.

Madrid aside, city rivals Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are also showing an interest.

Dean Huijsen could be the perfect fit for Tottenham or Liverpool

Huijsen could be the perfect player for both Tottenham and Liverpool as he would offer a left-sided option for their defences.

Whilst Virgil van Dijk is good enough to play on either side as a central defender, the Reds don’t have a natural left-footed centre-back, something which the Dutch-born defender could offer them.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s concerns over Micky van de Ven’s injuries means they might need to find a player who can cover for the number of games he is currently missing.
