Tottenham Hotspur already have a strong feeling about Mathys Tel’s stance over making his switch from Bayern Munich permanent in the summer.
Tel’s move to Tottenham was one of the most dramatic stories of deadline day after seemingly rejecting the North London club, the Frenchman changed his mind.
Postecoglou’s meeting with Tel is what seemed to have seen him make a U-turn over his decision and then eventually agree to make the switch to N17.
Tottenham managed to secure a buy option on Tel and the Lilywhites are confident they already know whether the teenager will agree to make the move permanent.

Tottenham confident Mathys Tel will join permanently
Tottenham are confident that should they opt to make Mathys Tel’s move permanent the player will allow the move to go through, according to Alasdair Gold.
Tel would need to give his approval for Spurs to take up their buy option and if all goes well in North London, the deal is expected to go through.
Gold told the Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham podcast: “However, from what I understand, in Spurs, there is a confidence that if they decide to take up the option in the summer then it will all go through and he’s agreed to this six-year deal.
“So it’s kind of all set up there and ready to go. But yes, of course, he’ll have a say on his destination in the summer. But you would imagine if all goes well, he plays well, he’s happy, then everyone will be happy.”
Will Mathys Tell make his Tottenham debut vs Liverpool?
Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Tel could make his Tottenham debut vs Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
Potsceoglou told the media ahead of the game: “Kevin (Danso) and Mathys are both available and have trained.”
Tel could replace Richarlison who was disappointing against Brentford, meanwhile, Kevin Danso could come in for Archie Gray in central defence.
Micky van de Ven remains sidelined for the trip to Anfield as Spurs plan to be super cautious as he looks to build up his fitness having only just returned from a hamstring injury.
