Manchester City have ended up being one of the busiest clubs in England in the transfer window and are close to signing midfielder, Nico Gonzalez.
Gonzalez is wanted by City and the club have been pressing ahead with a £50m deal for the midfielder.
Pep Guardiola is believed to have convinced City’s board to go and do the deal and as the deadline approaches, it’s looking like Pep will get his man.
Gonzalez has been undergoing a medical at the club and now, reports are confirming how that medical has gone.

Man City expected to announce Nico Gonzalez signing after successful medical
According to The Independent, City are very close to getting a deal done for Gonzalez.
Indeed, they claim that his medical has gone without an issue and at the moment, it’s just a matter of time as to when they announce Gonzalez as a new city player.
City have already signed Omar Marmoush and Victor Reis this month, while they also landed young defender Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens.
However, Pep Guardiola has been desperate to replace Rodri and it looks like he has got his man for now.
Pep Guardiola building for next season
City’s 5-1 hammering at the hands of Arsenal at the weekend very much puts them out of title contention this season and it’s all eyes on next year now.
Clearly, Pep Guardiola has identified deficiencies in the squad at the moment and the signing of Gonzalez adds more depth and quality to the ranks.
Sure, Gonzalez will likely play from the off this season but he’s really a signing for next year and we can expect City to be busy once again in the summer.
