Arsenal do have work to do in the transfer window, but with just days to go until the window closes, the Gunners may not get all the players they need.
Indeed, with just a couple of days left to run in the transfer window, Arsenal haven’t made a single signing this month, and they need bodies through the door.
Arsenal need a new striker, and they have been active on that front.
Indeed, Arsenal bid for Ollie Watkins earlier this week, while Arsenal also made an approach for Evan Ferguson this month.
Arsenal have also been looking for a new winger in recent times too.
Rafael Leao has been linked to Arsenal, while Nico Williams is a top target for Arsenal too.
Speaking on Curtis Shaw TV, Ben Jacobs has been discussing Arsenal’s search for a new winger, and he says that Jamie Gittens could end up on the Gunners’ radar.

Arsenal could look at Jamie Gittens
According to Jacobs, Arsenal could look at Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens in the summer.
Gittens has been described as ‘excellent’ in recent times, and Liverpool have recently scouted Gittens too.
“Tel’s first position is left-winger and really Arsenal will be looking at Matheus Cunha and Nico Williams in the summer, and maybe even Jamie Gittens as well. On the right side they have urgency to find cover for the injured Saka, but even when he is fit they need more firepower on that right side,” Jacobs said.

Arsenal could look at signing Gittens from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, and there’s plenty of reason to be excited about this signing.
It feels as though every other year Borussia Dortmund are helping a player become a top-class talent, be that Ousmane Dembele, Jude Bellingham or Erling Haaland, and it looks like Gittens is the next man up in that regard.
At the age of just 20, this young man is already making waves in the Bundesliga.
Indeed, Gittens has been contributing at an exceptional rate this season.

Of course, Arsenal can’t get too carried away here and end up overpaying for Gittens.
Indeed, we’ve been here before with a young, English winger starring for Borussia Dortmund.
Just a few years ago, Jadon Sancho was putting up similar numbers over in Germany, but he’s not been able to replicate that at all since coming to England.
Gittens is an exciting talent, and he could be a star for Arsenal if he does come to north London, but, at the same time, there’s reason to be wary about this link.
