One of the most intriguing questions in the ongoing January transfer window is which club Mathys Tel finally decides to join after leaving Bayern Munich.
Tottenham are trying to sign Bayern’s Tel quickly as they are desperate not to be left behind in the race for his signature.
Even Arsenal are keen on signing Tel as an alternative to Ollie Watkins, who Aston Villa wish to keep this month.

Tel, dubbed an “outstanding talent” by Harry Kane is certainly garnering interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
But French outlet L’Equipe have reported that Tottenham have reached an agreement worth €60 million (£50.9 million) to sign Tel. The 19-year-old is going to spend the next few hours making his final decision but a contract at Spurs until 2029 is on the table for him to sign.
Tel, described as “special” by Owen Hargreaves has been one of Europe’s most highly-rated young strikers for a few years and his potential signing could represent a coup for Ange Postecoglou and Co.
Postecoglou asked Tottenham to sign a versatile attacker and the former Rennes technician is unique because he can play across the front line and that too at such a young age.
Which other clubs want to sign Mathys Tel?
Chelsea are interested in signing Tel but it is far from easy for them to sign the Bayern sensation.
However, TBR Football revealed Tel is not keen on joining Chelsea.
Aston Villa have asked about signing Tel as well,.
With Watkins becoming Arsenal’s prime target, Villa have targeted the youngster’s signature, especially considering that Jhon Duran agreed a deal to join Al-Nassr.
But Tottenham seem to be firmly in the lead to sign Tel now.
