Liverpool are enjoying life under newly-appointed manager Arne Slot.
The Reds sit at the summit of the Premier League table having won seven out of the opening eight games.

Though, some of their star players face uncertain futures with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold all out of contract at the end of the season.
Alexander-Arnold has been heavily linked with Real Madrid and it seems if he does leave, Liverpool are well-placed to land his replacement in 2025.

Liverpool target Michael Kayode deemed surplus to requirements
Michael Kayode was a man in demand during the summer transfer window with Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Brentford all showing an interest in his signature.
TBR reported last week that Liverpool were lining up a bid for Kayode ahead of the January transfer window.
Now it’s just emerged, that Kayode has been made surplus to requirements at Fiorentina – putting Slot’s side in pole position to land his signature.
The 2001-born isn’t part of Raffaele Palladino’s plans, so it’s thought a January exit is very much on the cards.
Kayode, who’s been labelled ‘formidable’ per Breaking The Lines, is valued at around £21m.
Kayode statistics vs Alexander-Arnold
If Liverpool were to sign Kayode, he’d likely join as a long-term replacement for Alexander-Arnold.
Here are how their statistics compare.
Stats per 90 | Michael Kayode | Trent Alexander-Arnold |
Tackles | 2.13 | 1.89 |
Blocks | 1.18 | 1.21 |
Successful take-ons | 1.07 | 1.04 |
Progressive passes | 3.53 | 8.19 |
Evidently, Alexander-Arnold is a much better passer of the ball but Kayode edges him for tackles, so perhaps Slot would deploy the Fiorentina defender as a traditional right-back.
